About Common Closet

In service of human expression.

Common Closet is a Beverly Hills–based nonprofit built on a simple belief: that everyone deserves the tools to be seen as fully themselves. We open our wardrobe, our stylists, and our stage to the performers, models, actors, and image-makers who move culture forward — and too often carry the cost of it alone.

Visibility is part of the work. Alongside wardrobe and styling, we help artists shape how they present themselves — building a personal brand that is genuinely theirs, and learning to film themselves for self-tapes, auditions and social media. Every program we run is provided at no cost to the artists we serve.

What we do

We put couture and craft into the hands of working artists. Through our Wardrobe, our styling sessions, and the visibility we create around our shoots and events, we help creatives show up for the moments that change their careers — the red carpet, the campaign, the audition, the next chapter.

Why it matters

Talent is everywhere; access is not. A great look shouldn’t be the thing standing between an artist and their break. As a 501(c)(3), every gift — in cash or in kind — goes back into keeping the Closet open: dressing the next artist, funding the next residency, staging the next night.

The Wardrobe
Couture and everyday pieces, lent to the artists who need them.
The Styling
Time with our stylists to build a look that’s unmistakably yours.
The Visibility
Shoots, shows, and evenings that put our creatives in the room.
