Common Closet Project

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 4, 2026

Common Closet Project (“we”, “us”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Beverly Hills, California. This policy explains what information we collect on commonclosetproject.org, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what you choose to give us, we use it only to run our programs, and we never sell it.

Information you give us

When you fill in a form on this site — registering for an event or masterclass, applying to a program, requesting a styling session, or contacting us — we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, and anything you write in a message field. Providing a phone number or other optional fields is always your choice.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use analytics (Google Analytics, via the Site Kit plugin) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they use. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security purposes.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your application, registration or request — the reason you wrote to us.
  • To confirm event details, dates and follow-ups you asked for.
  • To understand which of our free programs are useful, so we can improve them.

What we never do

  • We never sell, rent or trade your personal information.
  • We never share it with third parties for their marketing.
  • We never ask for payment details on this site — our programs are free.

Donations

Donations are processed by Square, an independent payment processor, on Square’s own secure pages. We do not receive or store your card details. Square’s handling of your data is governed by Square’s privacy policy.

How long we keep information

We keep form submissions for as long as they are needed to run the program you contacted us about, and for our basic records as a nonprofit. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

You may ask us to see, correct or delete the information you have sent us. Email us and we will take care of it: inga@commonclosetproject.org.

Children

Our programs welcome parents of young performers, but forms on this site should be filled in by an adult. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date. Questions are always welcome at inga@commonclosetproject.org.
